Challenge 2015

Welcome to Menlo School’s new website. As you may already know, the School is a vibrant community almost literally bursting with opportunities for students to explore new interests, stretch themselves and reach their full potential. It is quite a challenge for our website to capture all of these extraordinary opportunities and also to give you a feel for the dynamism that is so much a part of the Menlo experience. And yet I believe this website will do all of that and more.

As exciting as Menlo is, it is also true that the School refuses to stand still. Indeed, one of its most distinctive features is its continuous quest for improvement. You will get a sense of all of this from Challenge 2015, a statement that Menlo’s Board of Trustees recently adopted, which sets forth what we hope to achieve during the next few years. Of particular importance is the first goal that speaks to the quality of our students’ educational experience: “Above all else, make the instructional program even more engaging.”

I encourage you to take the time to read Challenge 2015 as it conveys quite a lot about what makes Menlo School such a superb place in which to spend the middle and high school years.
