No Humans Allowed!

Well, not for this competition: only autonomous robots, designed by Menlo’s award-winning robotics club!

While the kids in the Robotics Club, captained by Lauren Yang ’17 and Tommy Yang ’18, are certainly animated, they sat on the sidelines as the robots they designed moved on their own for the NorCal Botball® Autonomous Robotics Tournament at the NASA Ames Research Center. The team won the KISS (keep it simple, students) award for designing simple, elegant, yet highly functional robots. The team also won the First Place Alliance Challenge Award for their collaboration with another team.
