On May 9, 2012 the Menlo Park City Council voted to give commendations to students and staff at Menlo School and Sacred Heart Preparatory (SHP) for their recent efforts to encourage fellow students to take alternative means of transportation during their Earth Day Challenge on April 12. Both schools have launched major initiatives to reduce traffic and do their part for the environment and our community.
