This week, seventh graders present their "Dude, That's Wrong!" projects. For this problem-based learning project, students explore a problem in the world, research the issues and others' attempts to solve it, connect with people working on the problem, and create one way they personally can help alleviate the problem. This year, students have tackled problems as diverse as texting while driving, Super PACs, arsenic in apple juice, teen depression, bullying, identity theft, over fishing, rhino poaching, whaling, and the U.S. debt crisis.
