Menlo junior Andrew Buchanan carded a 3-over-par 75 and finished tied for 23rd place at the NCGA/CIF NorCal Regional Championship on Monday at Butte Creek Country Club in Chico.

Buchanan finished seven shots behind three medalists, who shot 68. The last qualifier for the state championships shot a 71 among the field of 94 players.
