Menlo’s Learning Lab is a safe space for students to get the academic support they need when they need it.
Whether students need help with one problem or an entire unit, the Learning Lab offers a supportive place for students to come and receive the help they need. The lab’s exceptional staff also seeks to reignite a student’s passion for learning so that they focus less on what grade they are receiving and more on how deeply they understand the content presented in class. While the majority of students come in for math and science classes, we also help develop their academic skills such as time management, organization, study skills, and self-advocacy.
The Learning Lab is open from 7:30 am-4:45 pm every day that school is in session, including during lunch. Mr. Whistler runs the lab and is available on a drop-in basis. Ms. Gray is available by appointment for one-on-one help for a myriad of study skills issues.
