Athletics spectator policy 2021-22

We are thrilled that our students and team are back on the playing fields with full schedules. The health and safety of our community, as well as its visitors- are at the forefront, and guide the policy for our Athletics events.

All spectators 12 years and older must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, and must show proof of completed vaccination in order to be admitted. Children younger than 12 may attend Menlo School athletic events without a vaccination.

Visitors 12 and older must be completely vaccinated: more than two weeks after the second dose of Moderna or Pfizer, or dose of Johnson & Johnson. No exceptions (which includes those with medical limitations). Spectators must wear masks at all times except when taking a bite of food or sip of drink outdoors).

Outdoor sports

There is no limit on number of family members/friends per athlete. Students, faculty, staff are welcome.

Indoor sports

Spectators will be limited to four per household of the players. Faculty & staff welcome, and a small number of students will be allowed to attend.

Away venues

Each site will have its own guidelines about number of spectators, vaccination and/or testing requirements. Coaches and team parents will send information as it pertains to each site.

Please visit the COVID-19 Resources Page for the most up-to-date information for Menlo School.

Menlo Student-Athletes

Students should have submitted a copy of their vaccination record. There are two easy ways to submit a student’s vaccination card: either email it to nurse@menloschool.org or ask your student to submit it here. To check a student’s vaccination status as we have it recorded, simply visit this page. Unvaccinated community members (including students and employees with medical exemptions) will need to upload a negative lab-based PCR test result in order to participate in on-campus activity.
