About the Team

The Menlo girls’ golf team consistently places in the top 10 at the Central Coast Section Championships, including fourth place in 2015 and fifth place in 2014. The Knights are coming off a 11-1 West Bay Athletic League-play mark, winning the title, as well as its third consecutive league tournament. Menlo players have qualified for the CCS competition the last nine seasons.


Mark Madayag (first season)

Mark MadayagMadayag is a golf pro and has organized several development programs. He coached the junior league program for seven consecutive winning seasons as a golf pro at the Palo Alto Golf Course. He has been a Class A member of the PGA of America since 1998, and is also a certified coach and mentor for the First Tee Silicon Valley Chapter. He has been coaching the PGA Junior League team in Palo Alto since 2014 and has won two championships. His teaching style is described as a blend of the latest game - improvement techniques which can help improve any golfer. Early in his career, he was a golf pro and assistant manager at Harding Park Golf Course.
