Summer Programs

The learning doesn’t stop in June! Menlo School is home to several wonderful programs during the summer.

Summer Sports Camps at Menlo is a comprehensive Athletics program featuring a range of sports, including volleyball, football, lacrosse, baseball, soccer, water polo, and track & field for youth in fourth grade and above, led by Menlo School’s coaches and staff. Summer Journalism Workshop Students entering seventh to ninth grade are invited to join the Menlo School Journalism Workshop (MSJW) during the week of Aug. 7-11, 2023. At MSJW, you’ll experience the power and fun of journalism with other students from around the Bay Area. No prior experience is needed! You’ll also have access to support from the journalism adviser and leaders from The Coat of Arms (Menlo’s student news publication). Learn more about the program here. Register here.

Menlo Parliamentary Debate Workshop will be held August 14-18, 9:30 am-3:30 pm. This five-day workshop focuses on building public speaking, research, and argumentation skills. Students will work in pairs and small groups as they build out cases on a wide variety of ethical and social topics. The camp is open to returning debate competitors and students with zero debate experience. Register here.

Music@Menlo is an internationally acclaimed chamber music festival and institute on the Menlo School campus. Founded by David Finckel and Wu Han, Music@Menlo features unique immersive programming, a roster of world-class artists, and a Chamber Music Institute for emerging and pre-professional musicians. Summer Arts@Menlo, is a summer arts program for students in grades 6-12, who want to explore arts. Programs have ranged from visual arts, drama, dance, photography, and more.  Unfortunately, the summer arts program has been canceled for the summer of 2023.
