The Family Experience

Working together.

The Parent Community

At Menlo, teachers and parents are partners, working together to provide the best education for our students. The parent community supports this effort in many ways. The Menlo School Parent Association (MSPA) raises funds, creates special events for faculty and parents, and offers multiple parent education opportunities. Connections Beyond the Classroom (CBC) manages an extensive database of parents and alumni who can offer students career advice and internships.

Parent Education

Menlo believes that a strong parent/school partnership is essential to the well-being and happiness of our students.  Menlo provides several opportunities for parents to learn more about the adolescent  experience.

Common Ground Speaker Series
In partnership with other local independent schools, parents have the opportunity to attend lectures on various topics of adolescence and learning.  Learn more information about the series here.

Parent Education Conference
Held annually each winter, the Parent and Faculty Education Conference is a great opportunity for parents and faculty to learn together the best practices of learning and child rearing.
