In Stent Family Hall, we are digging and pouring the building footings and installing rebar. The wall layout, installation of the metal stud framing, and mechanical/plumbing/electrical rough-in work also continues. At the Technology Center, the concrete pour for the mat slab is also ongoing.

January 23

Despite the rain, the Center of Campus project is progressing and remains on schedule. While much of the recent work has not been visible to the public, in February we’ll begin to see the structures taking shape with the arrival and installation of the steel.

This week, at Stent Family Hall, the site grading and dirt off-haul work continue as does the digging of building footings and rebar installation. The wall layout work and plumbing and electrical rough-in work are also ongoing. At the Technology Center, the rebar delivery and installation at the mat slab and concrete pour will continue.

January 17

In Stent Family Hall, the site grading and dirt off-haul work continues this week as does the digging of building footings, rebar installation, the underground utility installation, and the plumbing and electrical rough-in work for the first floor. For the Technology Center, rebar will be delivered and installed at the elevator pit and mat slab. The concrete pour for the elevator pit slab and underground plumbing pipe installation work also continues. This work may cause some noise disruption in the CADC, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday.

January 9

In Stent Family Hall, the underground utility installation, including the storm drain, are ongoing as is the plumbing and electrical rough-in work. The site grading of dirt and drywall layout on the first floor of the building has also begun. At the Technology Center, the below grade vertical waterproofing at the walls will begin this week as will the rebar delivery and rebar installation for footings.

January 4

In Stent Family Hall, the underground utilities installation work is ongoing, and the framing layout for the first floor and the electrical overhead and plumbing rough-in work has begun. For the Technology Center, work on the shoring wall lagging continues as does work for the building’s foundation, which includes delivery of base rock.
