March 6

The installation of the structural steel for the addition to Stent Family Hall begins this week. As such, the path between the Stent Hall Construction Site and the Dance Studio as well as the area between the Upper School and the Dance Studio will be closed to accommodate the crane starting TODAY, Monday, March 6, through Friday, March 10. The detour areas include around the B Building (through the exit near the Redwood Grove) and around the front of Stent Hall. There will also be heavy traffic through the rear entrance throughout the week as well.

Additionally, work on the kitchen inside Stent Hall is also ongoing, which includes work on the fire sprinkler pipe and installations for the metal stud framing, mechanical duct, plumbing pipe and electrical conduit. Work on the Technology Center also continues and includes the prepared scaffold, wires for shotcrete, shotcrete lower level vertical walls, and installation of the steel connection points at the Creative Arts and Design Building’s exterior walls and ledger angle at top of shotcrete walls.
