Megan Keely ’04 returned to Menlo to perform her song “Define American” during a student assembly on Oct. 24. Introduced by her Menlo classmate, Dr. Angela Birts ’04, Keely sang, playing her guitar.

She then encouraged today’s students to find their own creative outlets, saying she wasn’t much of a performer while at Menlo and only gained the courage to share her art while in college.

The song is available to stream on major online services and on Keely’s website, and a video of her performance at assembly is posted on the Menlo Facebook page.
