Issa Coultas ’09, Rachel Siegman ’12, Josh Reason ’12, Jonny Halprin ’11, and Adrienne Chiu ’09 (left to right) returned to Menlo for a panel about finding purpose in one’s career, conducted as part of the Junior Class retreat.

The conversation, moderated by Upper School history teacher and Junior Class advisor Andy Kitt, covered panelists’ experiences navigating college and their early professional lives, with some saying they’re confident they’ve found a driving purpose and others saying they’re still searching.

Siegman gave, perhaps, the key statement of the event when she answered a student question about how to identify one’s passion by saying, “Something you’re good at comes easy. Something you’re passionate about isn’t necessarily easy, but you keep at it.”
