Avi Tuschman ’98, PhD, spoke about the evolution of political anthropology and his new book, Our Political Nature: The Evolutionary Origins of What Divides Us.

Avi Tuschman ’98 is a political anthropologist, an expert on the hidden roots of political orientation and author of Our Political Nature: The Evolutionary Origins of What Divides Us. Avi was an advisor in the governmental palace in Peru and Senior Writer to Peru’s President Alejandro Toledo. With Toledo and seventeen former presidents, he co-wrote a regional policy agenda on democratic governance. He’s also worked with several multilateral development banks to mediate social and economic conflicts in developing countries.
