On September 10, Marianne Siulangapo ’19, Nazlee Habibi ’14, Tucker Matta ’18, and Electa Narasin ’18 (left to right, pictured above) came back to Menlo for a junior class meeting to share their experiences and wisdom as recent graduates now navigating college and young adulthood. Each of them stressed that Menlo offers students all sorts of wonderful opportunities, and that students should embrace that freedom. As Tucker put it, “Menlo is the best place to switch directions because there are so many different ways to go.” Moreover, once they’ve moved on from Menlo, they will likely have plenty of time to discover what moves them. Nazlee explained that she gained confidence in her abilities when she realized, “The coolest part about you is the stuff that’s different. Be who you want.”
