Girls’ basketball wins in rout

Menlo girls’ basketball rolled to a 62-14 victory over Notre Dame-Belmont in a West Bay Athletic League game at home Friday night.
The Knights improve to 3-1 league and 15-2 overall. They next play at Eastside on Wednesday, Jan 29 in a make-up game.
Ten players scored for Menlo, led by junior Avery Lee, who scored 13 and had five assists. Sharon Nejad, a sophomore, scored nine and had two blocks while freshman Riley Jensen added nine points and five rebounds.Senor Maeia Makoni had six points .
