Boys’ lacrosse sails past SHC 20-1

3.11.2020 – The Menlo boys’ lacrosse team defeated Sacred Heart Cathedral 20-1 in a West Catholic Athletic League game at home Wednesday.

In what would be the last lacrosse game until at least mid-April, Harvard-bound Finn Leschly poured in five goals and an assist and fellow senior, Lafayette-bound Ryan Young also had five goals. Junior Davis Mead had a hat trick and two assists.
Junior Theo Kim made 10 saves, and senior Brendan Murphy, who is set to play for Franklin & Marshall, was 16 of 17 on face-offs and picked up 11 groundballs. Junior Chris d’Alencon distributed four assists and freshman Braydon Stroh was 4 of 6 on face-offs.
