Melissa Lawlor ’96 is Director of Equity and Inclusion at Brewster Academy, in New Hampshire. Several of the initiatives she leads are covered on a new section of the school’s website.

Kate Hawkins ’06 started constructing crossword puzzles at the end of 2019. Since then, she’s been a regular contributor to the USA Today crossword and has published puzzles in a number of indie publications. She had her New York Times crossword debut on Friday, August 28. She tells us, “If you’re new to solving themeless puzzles, this might be a good one to start with—it features the Spice Girls, Hamilton, and writing implements that were all the rage when I was a middle schooler at Menlo.”

Peter Bouret '14 Peter Bouret ’14 (pictured) wrote to tell us, “After two unforgettable years in the finance fast lane, I said my farewells to the Big Apple and accepted a position at Shoreline Equity Partners (SEP) in sunny Jacksonville, FL. I can’t thank Menlo enough for helping forge the character necessary to reach this new height—and the beach isn’t too bad either!”

Sabrina Jain ’18 is a member of Dartmouth’s varsity equestrian team, competing in the Intermediate Fences and Novice Flat classes.
