Girls’ tennis beats SHP, Notre Dame-Belmont

Brynn Brady posted a straight-sets win against Sacred Heart Prep

9.30.2021 – Menlo girls’ tennis rolled to a 7-0 victory over Notre Dame-Belmont in a WBAL match Thursday at home.
The Knights improve to 9-2 overall and 2-0 in league and play Harker on the road in a rematch of the CCS Championship.

9.28.2021 –The Menlo girls’ tennis team defeated Sacred Heart Prep 5-2 in West Bay Athletic League play. 

The Knights (8-2) picked up singles wins from freshman Andra Braicu 6-2, 6-2 over Natalie Diaz at No. 1. Senior Brynn Brady defeated Elsie Ragatz 6-0, 6-0, and junior Sofia Labatt won 6-4, 6-0 at No.3. Freshman Kate Hsia dropped a 7-5, 6-4 decision at No. 4 singles. 

Charlotte Yao and Charlotte Makoni won at No. 1 doubles 7-6 (5), 6-3. Izzy Klugman and Alex Viret won at No. 2 6-4, 6-2. Seniors Elizabeth Curtin and Rupal Nimaiyar had a narrow loss 6-7 (5), 7-6 (5), (13) at No.3 doubles.
