Volleyball sweeps Burlingame

Nejad lands 16 kills on 69.9 percent hitting

10.8.2021 – In a kickoff to homecoming festivities, the Menlo School volleyball team defeated visiting Burlingame 25-10, 25-20, 25-23 in a non-league match Friday night.
The Knights improve to 21-5 overall, and resume WBAL play Tuesday against Mercy-Burlingame.

Senior Sharon Nejad posted a team-high 16 kills on 69.9 percent hitting. Zoe Gregory distributed 25 assists and had seven digs and two aces. Fellow senior Simone Adam added nine kills and seven digs. Senior Hanna Hoffman posted nine digs and 18 assists. Senior Hallie MacDonald had also had nine digs and three aces.
