Girls’ basketball defeats Priory

Menlo freshman Karen Xin scored 21 points in a win over Priory on Tuesday

The Menlo girls’ basketball game against The King’s Academy on Friday was suspended  due to a COVID exposure.

The player, who tested positive for COVID-19 was not at the game. Menlo learned of the positive result after the game had  begun. The matchup will be re-scheduled.

1.18.2022 – The Menlo girls’ basketball team cruised to a 54-31 win in West Bay Athletic League play at home Tuesday.
The Knights (7-6 overall, 2-2 league) extended its halftime lead to 12. Freshman guard Karen Xin sank five of the team’s eight three-pointers and finished with a game-high 21 points. Freshman Angelica Chou, seniors Reena Kagan and Shannon Li all pitched in with eight points.

Menlo senior Sharon Nejad and Chou each grabbed 10 rebounds.
