3.12.2022 – Stretching its win streak to eight-matches, the undefeated Menlo boys’ tennis team won the Bay Area Classic after a hard-fought 5-2 win over Canyon Crest of San Diego in the final Saturday.
Earlier, the Knights defeated San Dieguito 7-0, Homestead 7-0, Cupertino 5-2 to advance to the championship match.
Last season, Menlo won a matchup with Monta Vista in a modified Bay Area Classic due to COVID, and in 2019, the Knights took third place.
This year, the Knights took a 3-0 lead before wrapping up the match against Canyon Crest.
Rishi Jain teamed with Evan Burnett three times and Nishan Rajavisireddy once to go 4-0 at No. 1 doubles. Rajavisireddy also went 3-0 at No. 2 doubles with Tudor Baicu, Alex Volgin and Rohan Shah went 4-0, twice at No. 2 doubles and twice at No,. 3. Cooper Han, Mick Tamas, Soren Sutaria went 3-1 during the classic at singles, and Braicu went 2-1 in singles and Volgin picked up a singles win as well.

3.8.2022 - The Menlo boys’ tennis team sailed to a 7-0 victory over visiting Crystal Springs in WBAL play Tuesday.
The Knights improved to 3-0, following a singles sweep by freshman Cooper Han, and seniors Mick Tamas, Soren Sutaria and Rohan Shah. The senior duo of Nik Khuntia, Rishi Jain won at No. 1 doubles, Juniors Will Perez and Nikhil Agarwal won in straight sets at No, 2 doubles, and sophomores Sam Engel and Nikhil Kothari took three doubles,
