Boys’ track & field competes at St. Francis Invitational

Pretre brothers 1-2 in 3000m; Floyd second pole vault

3.19.2022 – The Menlo boys’ track and field team competed in the St,. Francis Invitational, and came away with top-six finishes including two victories in Mountain View on Saturday.
The distance medley relay of freshman Landon Pretre, and juniors William Floyd, Aiden Deffner and Justin Pretre.
Menlo junior Justin Pretre won the 3000-meter race in 8:47.93. Brother freshman Landon Pretre was second in 8:49.24.
Floyd took second in the pole vault, clearing 13 feet, 6 inches, and Deffner was sixth in the 800, finishing in 2:03.35
In the frosh-soph 800, sophomore Alex Boesch was sixth in the 800 in 2:10.82 and 8th in 300 hurdles 48.54 and freshman Will Hauser was fourth in the frosh-soph mile in 4:51.36.
