Boys’ lacrosse tops San Ramon Valley in 2OT
In a thrilling double-overtime, the Menlo boys’ lacrosse team posted a 13-12 victory over San Ramon Valley on the road Friday. Senior Carter Jung recorded the winner Carter - a downhill right-alley dodge shot on the run 45 seconds into second overtime period.
The Knights rallied from a 4-0 first-quarter deficit to pull ahead 7-5 at the half. Menlo and SRV tied 12-12 after the first overtime period.
Carter Jung finished with five goals and an assist. Sophomore Bradford Tudor tallied four goals and an assist while senior Sam Scola had five assists and four ground balls.
Junior Bax Barlow posted 15 saves while sophomore Brady Jung won 14 of 20 face-offs. Junior Lucas Vogel assisted on a goal and picked up four gorundballs.
