Boys’ track & field picking up speed at CCS Top 8
4.22.2022 – The boys’ track and field team finished with outstanding races at the CCS Top 8 meet Friday at Los Gatos, and now the fifth-seeded distance medley relay will prepare for the prestigious Penn Relays on Friday in Pennsylvania.
Landon Pretre, a freshman, was second in the 3200 in 9:10.03. Justin Pretre took third in the 1600 in 4:12.75 and fellow junior William Floyd was fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 13 feet, 6 inches, matching his previous best. Junior Aiden Deffner finished the 800 in 2:01.44.
The entire Knights track & field team will also be competing in the third WBAL meet at Sacred Heart Prep on Thursday
The Knights team of Landon Pretre, William Floyd, Aiden Deffner, Justin Pretre will be running the distance medley relay at the Penn Relays as the fifth seed on Friday at 1:25 p.m.
