Boys’ golf beats SHP

4.28.2022 – The Menlo boys’ golf team avenged an earlier loss with a win over Sacred Heart Prep 193-204 in a WBAL regular-season finale at Baylands Golf Links on Thursday. Knights sophomore Eric Yun claimed medalist honors with a 34. Seniors Marcus Ying, Ryan Schaefer came in to the clubhouse with 39s.

Seniors Amay Goel and Saaz Ahuja shot a 40 and 41, respectively, and sophomore Julian Brooks a 48.

Menlo (6-4) heads into the West Bay Athletic League Championships on Tuesday at Coyote Creek after winning sixth of its last seven matches..

Crystal Springs 194, Menlo 211

Men;o 2114.25.2022 – The Menlo boys’ golf team dropped a 194-211 decision to Crystal Springs in a WBAL match at Baylands Golf Links on Monday.
Sophomore Eric Yun led the Knights again with a 1-over 38 and senior Ryan Schaefer shot a 39. Seniors Marcus Ying (41), Amay Goel (45), Saaz Ahuja (48) and sophomore Julian Brooks (49) rounded out the scoring.
Ethan Lee of Crystal Springs shot a 36 for medalist honors.
