9.27.2022 – The Menlo School volleyball team picked up a nail-biter of a league victory after a five-set duel with Castilleja 24-26, 14-25, 25-22, 26-24, 15-10 on the road Tuesday.
The Knights (11-11, 3-1 WBAL) have won six of their last seven matches.
Sophomore Lily Kautai posted another double-double with 51 assists,10 digs and two aces. Senior Brooke Dombkowski had a team-high 17 kills and three aces, and freshman Gaby Foster added 13 kills. Juniors Bella Chen tallied 10 kills and four blocks while Logan Wilson had six kills, five blocks.
Freshman Ava Wang posted eight digs, two aces and Annie Stent had six kills and two aces.
