Boys’ water polo suffers first WCAL loss
Menlo (5-1) falls to SHP
10.12.22 – In a duel between the WCAL leaders, Menlo lost a 20-9 decision to visiting Sacred Heart Prep on Wednesday.
With Menlo and SHP atop the league rankings, tonight’s winner took control of first place in league, with Bellarmine sitting at third place. The Gators took an early lead and never looked back.
Senior Tommy Kiesling led Menlo with five goals and three steals while senior Finn Byrne and sophomore Jackson Coleman had two assists each.
Menlo (13-5, 5-1 WCAL) heads into the North-South tournament this weekend starting with Harvard-Westlake Friday morning.
