Tennis kicks off Golden State Classic this weekend

Knights play Campo at 9 Friday

Menlo School girls’ tennis kicks off the sixth Golden State Classic - a 16-team tournament - which Menlo coach Bill Shine and Monta Vista coach Gene Fortino began in 2015 at Menlo School and Stanford University.
The tournament
features an impressive lineup of some of the top teams in the state, including NorCal champion and CCS finalist and host Menlo, CIF-NorCal semifinalist Amador Valley, CCS semifinalists Menlo-Atherton and St. Francis-Mountain View and CCS quarterfinalists Los Altos and Monta Vista.
