Boys’ soccer shuts out Priory; CCS next

Knights record eighth shutout of the season
Menlo's Eric Schmidtke scored the Knight's first goal against Priory.

2.15.2023  – The Menlo boys’ soccer team defeated visiting Priory 2-0 in a WBAL finale Wednesday to improve to 11-4-5 overall.
The Knights finished with a 10-1-3 record for second place in league, and secured a CCS automatic bid last week. Soccer’s seeding meeting is tomorrow.
Against Priory, junior Eric Schmidtke netted the first goal finishing an assist from senior Ethan Yuen in the 10th minute.
In the second half, sophomore Gabriel Gil fired in a shot on a feed from junior Julian Sheehan. Ben Bishop, also a junior, picked up the shutout - the Knights eighth of the year.  

Menlo 2, Pinewood 2

2.13.2023 - The Knights jumped ahead with two goals in the first half by senior Edwin Alvarez and junior Marco Cassani and held on for a tie in WBAL play on the road Monday.
