Menlo Middle School Drama presents Legally Blonde, Jr.

A fabulously fun, award-winning musical based on the adored movie, “Legally Blonde Jr.” follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Adapted for younger performers and based on the popular movie, this show features an upbeat original score that’s sure to leave cast members and audiences alike seeing pink!

Legally Blonde opened on April 29, 2007 at the Palace Theater on Broadway and ran for 595 performances. The musical also enjoyed an award-winning run on London’s West End. The musical features a libretto by Heather Hach with lyrics and music by Nell Benjamin and Laurence O’Keefe.

The Broadway Junior adaptation balances middle school appropriateness with the heart, soul and energy that is expected from Legally Blonde. With an adapted script and score, the shows plays beautifully, and its essence remains as vibrant as Elle’s signature pink outfits! So, “Omigod You Guys!” – it’s time to get this show “Whipped Into Shape” and discover the joy of being “Legally Blonde.”
