Anna was recently selected from a pool of applicants from 26 countries as one of the 24 pianists to compete in the inaugural Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition and Festival at Fort Worth, Texas in June. The Van Cliburn International Piano Competition is widely considered the world’s most prestigious piano competition (often dubbed the Piano Olympics), making this Anna’s greatest accomplishment in piano so far. The Festival includes seminars and symposia, and opportunities for participants to share their music with the community

Anna says, “I’m extremely grateful for the chance just to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and will put in my best effort to prepare for this most challenging competition. I’m really looking forward to being immersed with music, since I have to prepare over two hours of music in the next few months.”
