Administrative Assistant to Middle School Director
Biography
I am a Bay Area native, born and raised in Burlingame. After studying Psychology at Cañada College I began a short lived career in Law Enforcement. I worked for the Burlingame Police department as a CSO and later for the South San Francisco Police department as a 911 Dispatcher. During that time I got married, started a family, and was fortunate enough to be able to stay home and raise my kiddos for a span of 8 years. While fully engulfing myself in various school events and functions at my kid’s school and participating on yearly AYSO teams, I added volunteer administrative positions at both places. Being a super organized, detailed oriented person I enjoyed the opportunity to put my talents to work. I spent the last 8 years working as the school secretary and campus manager for 2 private schools along the Peninsula. I will say that even though I worked in 1 office 8 hours 5 days a week, I never lived the same day twice.
As a new hire, the Menlo School faculty has been nothing short of welcoming and has made sure to provide me with various lifelines of support and helpful information. I am beyond excited and intrigued for this new chapter and I look forward to working alongside a unique community.
Outside of work I spend all of my time with my Fiancé, two teenagers, and friends. Our list of activities span from concerts, board game nights, Taco Tuesdays, movie nights, beach and lake trips, and trying new local restaurants and breweries.
