Biography
After majoring in chemistry at Princeton as an undergraduate, with a Russian Studies minor, and completing my PhD in physical chemistry at Stanford, I worked for three years as a computational chemist at Sandia National Labs.
I began teaching at Foothill Community College and taught at Pinewood and Gunn High School before joining Menlo in 2001. At Menlo, I teach Accelerated Chemistry and AP chemistry, and I accompany the Upper School choruses on the piano.
In my spare time, I enjoy windsurfing and biking, and I dabble in dance and percussion. My motto is, “work hard, play hard.”
