This is my first year at Menlo, and I look forward to the relationships I’ll be building with everyone. I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio (who dey!) where I taught high school for six years teaching Geophysics, Biology, Environmental Science, and/or AP Biology. I moved to the Bay Area back in 2018 where I’ve taught for five years Geophysics, Biology, and/or AP Biology.
In my personal life, I like to go on hikes and walk my dog (Joey - Deer Chihuahua) in various areas of the bay. I enjoy singing karaoke with my partner, and exploring different places to eat. I love collecting specimens from nature and sharing them with my students, relating it to the things we’ve been discussing in class.
I’ve wanted to be a teacher since I was nine years old, and I’m thrilled to be able to live my dream! Most students would say my class is super chill with high expectations for learning.
