Biography

After joining the faculty in 1995 and teaching in Menlo’s middle school for six years, I joined the Upper School faculty as the Writing Center Director in 2001 and have been in that position ever since. I also teach AP English Language, co-coordinate Writer’s Week and facilitate the School’s peer coaching program for writers.

After receiving my BA in English from Rice University, I worked for six years in Texas teaching English to middle school students. During that time, I also received my Master’s in Education from the University of Texas.

In my free time, I run, bake, garden and enjoy traveling with my family.
