Biography

I was born in Seoul, Korea but raised in the diverse suburbs of Los Angeles. I have taught History at the middle and high school levels in Los Angeles, CA and at ASC Cobham International School in London, England. I have also volunteered in Kenya at one of the first orphanages for children with HIV/AIDS in East Africa. 

Beyond my love of teaching, I am passionate about serving on behalf of the homeless and taking advantage of the privilege of traveling. When I’m not in my classroom, I enjoy baking, making gelato, or trying everything once, like skydiving and zip-lining over rivers and canyons!
