Biography

I joined Menlo’s faculty in 2020 and I teach Spanish Foundations and Spanish Intermediate classes.

I started my career teaching Spanish classes at the university level while earning my Master of Arts in Latin American Literature and Cultural Studies. After graduating I spent two years in Honduras teaching English classes and independently continuing my studies of Central American culture. For the past five years, I have taught all levels of Spanish and led trips to Spanish-speaking countries for an independent school in Michigan.

When I am not in the classroom or my office, I am exploring nature, reading a good novel, attending classical music concerts, watching musicals and plays, cooking and baking, and hanging out with friends and family.
