     A leader and innovator in technology, philanthropy, and sports, Grady Burnett has spent the majority of his career at the intersection of media and technology in the digital advertising world. Grady recently co-founded Bow Capital, an early stage venture capital firm. Prior to investing, Grady served as President & COO of HackerRank as well as Flurry, which was acquired
by Yahoo. He has also previously worked as the VP of Sales and Global Marketing Solutions at Facebook, the Director of Online Sales and Operations for Google, and the VP of Agency Sales for DoubleClick. In addition to his career in advertising and management, Grady was a professional tennis player for three years. He now serves on the nonprofit boards of East Palo Alto Tennis & Tutoring (EPATT) and Jumpstart. Grady is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Harvard Business School, and he and his wife, Amy, have two children at Menlo—Sydney ’23 and Evan ’24—and a seven-year-old son, Miles. Grady says, “My kids are thriving in the Menlo community, and it is an honor for me to join the board and help the School in any way that I can.”
The proud daughter of a lifelong educator, new board member April House says she is “excited about working with a dedicated team of individuals who are similarly committed to ensuring that Menlo continues to serve as a respected beacon of innovation and learning.” April’s personal commitment to education is anchored in her fervent belief in its transformative value. Dedicated to educational access, inclusion, and belonging, April’s career includes academic research and program management. She is a graduate of Stanford University and currently works as the PhD Program Manager at Palo Alto University. April is the
mother of four children: two boys who attend Menlo, Austin ’23 and Aiden ’25, and two daughters, Alexis (16) and Alana (15), who attend Castilleja School.
New board member and alumna Linda Wythes Knoll ’89 says, “Menlo School has been a part of my life for almost 35 years,
and I am honored and excited to get involved with the School
at this level. I look forward to working closely with parents, getting to know Menlo’s inner workings, supporting its mission, and helping to make it the special place that it is for another
35 years!” After graduating from Menlo, Linda earned a BA in history from Vanderbilt University and then returned to San Francisco to work in public relations before going on to earn her teaching credential. She taught middle school for several years before starting a family with her husband, John. They have three children, Henry ’20, Charlie ’23, and Ellie ’25. Linda has been
a Menlo Class of ’89 representative for almost 30 years and has served on the Alumni Executive Committee, the MSPA Council, parent class teams, and the Annual Fund Committee. She is also active in the community, volunteering for many educational causes and nonprofit organizations.
Jonathan (Jon) Levin is the Philip H. Knight Professor and Dean at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has
been a faculty member at Stanford for almost 20 years and was previously Chair of Stanford’s Economics Department. Jon received a BA in English and a BS in mathematics from Stanford, an MPhil in economics from Oxford, and a PhD in economics from MIT. His wife, Amy, is a physician at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, and they have two children at Menlo—Madeline ’21
