BASKETBALL
(16-10 overall, NorCal Div. II qualifier, CCS Open qualifier, third place WBAL)
Menlo won the Marin
Catholic Tournament early
in the season and then
returned to the CCS Open
Division before competing
in NorCals. The team
finished third in the powerful West Bay Athletic League, which includes Pinewood in the NorCal Open and Eastside College Prep in the NorCal Div. I. A quintet of four-year players from the class of 2018, Parker Callender, Mohini Gupta, first-team all-league pick Mallory North, Carolyn Rantz, and Ally Stuart, closed their high school careers.
BOYS’ GOLF
(WBAL champion, second NorCals, third place CIF Championships)
Not only did the Menlo boys’ golf team make its first appearance in the state championships, the Knights tore through the San Gabriel Valley Country Club course, finishing third overall. Senior Max Ting, a state qualifier as
an individual last season, took second, just a stroke off the lead. All season long, the Knights relied on their depth. Menlo took second at NorCals after winning league for the first time since 2013.

to the semifinals of the season-ending tournament. During the season, the Knights tallied a nine-game win streak and rolled through a three-game San Diego tour undefeated. Seniors Baily Deeter, Brody LaPorte, and David Schmaier
Mallory North ’18 led a talented, young team to the NorCal Open
and junior Conor McCusker guided a well-rounded team from freshmen
to seniors in Coach Blake Kim’s inaugural season.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE
(15-5 overall, WBAL round-robin and tournament champion)
The Knights successfully defended their league title, their third in four years. After emerging from league play with an 11-1 mark, the Knights defeated Sacred Heart Prep
in the tournament final to capture both titles. Menlo got contributions up and down the lineup, including WBAL first-team selections seniors Nicole Priestly and Abby Wolfenden and Bella Scola ’19, Charlotte Swisher ’19, and Page Wolfenden ’20.
