Stephanie adds that she is “honored by the opportunity to work with a group of people committed to supporting and promoting Menlo’s mission.”
John Maletis ’95 (Alumni Executive Committee President,
ex officio) has worked in various leadership roles at Google for the past 12 years and currently serves as the COO for Google Photos, Chrome Browser, and Chrome OS. He graduated from Menlo, where he played basketball and baseball, in 1995. He then attended Middlebury College, where he studied economics and computer science and served as a captain of both the baseball and basketball teams. He began his career as a software engineer in New York City before earning an MBA at the Tuck School
at Dartmouth College. John lives in Menlo Park with his wife, Francie, and their children Morgan, 10; Kelsey, 8; and Theo, 2.
Of the opportunity to serve on the Alumni Executive Committee and the board, John says he is “excited to help give back to the institution that gave me so much and to help ensure less fortunate students experience everything that Menlo has to offer.”
Nikhil Basu Trivedi ’07 is excited to serve as a Menlo School trustee and says, “I feel honored to have the chance to serve and give back to the school that has transformed my life and provided a fantastic education and experience.” Nikhil is currently the Managing Director at Shasta Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage investing in enterprise and consumer
technology businesses. He leads investments in consumer- oriented businesses and also has a strong interest in health
care, education, energy, and life sciences industries. Prior to joining Shasta, Nikhil cofounded Artsy, an online platform for discovering and collecting art. He also served on the investment team at Insight Venture Partners. After his graduation from Menlo in 2007, Nikhil went on to Princeton University, where he earned a degree in molecular biology with a certificate in finance. He grew up in the UK and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area with his family at age 13, right before joining Menlo. As a trustee, Nikhil looks forward to “being a small part of helping make Menlo better and to having a positive impact on the School’s relationship with its alumni community.”
Christina Tudor (MSPA Co-President, ex officio) attended
the University of Colorado at Boulder before moving to San Francisco after college. She has worked at the North Face corporate office and JP Morgan and lived in Annapolis, MD; Atlanta, GA; and Summit, NJ; before settling in Hillsborough. With her husband, Doug, she is the parent of Emory ’22 and Bradford ’24. During her family’s time at Menlo, she has served in several other volunteer roles, including being a member of the Annual Giving Committee, the Valpo Fun Run Committee, and the Sixth Grade Team. In her role with the MSPA and as a trustee, she looks forward to “meeting new Menlo parents and families and connecting with people.”
