BASEBALL
Infielder and pitcher David Farnham ’16 played in five games in his junior season for Dickinson, which went 22-15. ... Grinnell junior Carson Gampell ’16 batted .273 with a pair of homers in 22 at-bats. The first baseman ranks sixth all-time in career putouts and holds the third-highest career fielding percentage (.991) in Pioneer history. ... Sophomore right- handed pitcher Griff McGarry ’17 was named the Opening Day starter for Virginia. He had a 4.56 ERA and went 3-5
in 13 games with 64 strikeouts in 53.1 innings pitched. The Hoos finished the season 32-24. McGarry played for Hyannis Harbor (Cape Cod League) this summer. ... Chandler Yu ’17 pitched in eight games with one start and posted a 2-1 record with a 4.57 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 21.2 innings in his sophomore season at the University of Chicago, including a four-inning stint to get the win versus Beloit and 3.2 innings with two strikeouts against Cornell. The Maroon finished the season in the Midwest Conference Tournament.

Joe Foley ’18 bounced back from an early season injury and played in 22 games as a freshman guard at Lehigh. He twice scored eight points against
Army and against Bucknell in the Patriot League Tournament semifinal. Foley was named to the league academic honor roll.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Drew Edelman ’13 signed with Div. I professional team Maccabi Bnot Ashdod in the spring. Last season, she played professionally for AS Ramat HaSharon in Israel, where she averaged 11.3 points and 7.1 rebounds in all 24 games. ... Sam Erisman ’17 had a standout sophomore season for City College of San Francisco, averaging 21.9 points, 6.4 assists, and 3.9 rebounds as a starting guard in all 27 games. City College went 23-4, won the
Coast Conference title, and advanced to the NorCal Regional final. ... In her rookie season, Mallory North ’18 averaged 8.6 points and 4.4 rebounds and had 19 assists in 16 games for Occidental.
