Shuttle & Transit Schedules

Trains, buses—there are a lot of local public transit options to get to Menlo.

To find your public transit options to get to and from school, use the Public Transit Trip Planner on 511.org—look on the left side of the homepage. You can even use their mobile app for help on the go.

The Clipper card is an easy way to use public transportation throughout the Bay Area. You can buy monthly passes for Caltrain, samTrans, VTA, BART and other systems; students 17 years old and younger qualify for discount fares.

samTrans
The San Mateo County Transit District bus system travels throughout the Bay Area and has stops near campus. Fare listings here. Route 83 runs along Valparaiso. Routes 295, 296, 390, KX and 85 stop at the Menlo Park Caltrain station, where you can catch the Menlo School Shuttle (see schedule below) to campus.

Caltrain is currently running limited hourly trains to and from Menlo Park. Check out the revised daily Menlo-Caltrain shuttle schedule below. Access the weekday Caltrain schedule here and the station map here. Fare listings are here. If you are interested in taking the Menlo Caltrain shuttle please fill out this form so we can ensure social distancing on our shuttles. If you need any help with shuttle service during your commute, please call Jannell Walker at 650.799.9003. The transportation department has created a group on the school messaging app called Remind to keep parents and students informed of any changes to the schedule, late arrivals, or emergency notifications. You can join the Remind group here with the code @menlotrain.

Menlo School Shuttle Bus

Due to COVID-19, Menlo has had to suspend all home-to-school busses. We are, however, still running a daily shuttle to and from Caltrain.

HEALTHY AND SAFETY GUIDELINES: All shuttle passengers will need to show their green One Medical badge and must wear their masks at all times. Passengers will be seated in different rows and sides of the buses to ensure social distancing. The health screening will include a temperature check and will be performed at the train station before getting transported to Menlo. If a passenger does NOT pass the temperature check or have a green One Medical badge, they will have to return home.
