The student, an Eagle Scout, recently led a successful effort to donate 2,000 books to the Bukembe Boys High School in Kenya. He worked with fellow members of Los Altos Troop 30 to collect books throughout the community. The Los Altos Town Crier has the story.

We were sad to learn that John Arrillaga, father of John Arrillaga Jr. ’88 as well as developer, designer, and donor of much of Menlo’s current campus, passed away on January 24 at age 84, surrounded by his immediate family.
