Farmers Market Fridays

With the weather heating up and summer fast approaching, the season for farmers markets is here! For the past two Fridays, the Menlo School quad has been the scene for Fresh Point’s display of fresh fruits and vegetables. “Fresh Point is the fresh produce provider for [Menlo School] and for Sodexo,” Fresh Point Representative Kevin said. He outlined the reason for the farmers market. “Your initiative here, and many places now, is to buy the produce as local as possible. Though doing this I found out that the local theme is mainly financial: to keep the dollars within the community.” Stop by every Friday for an opportunity to get a fruity refresher!
