Middle School Music Teacher
I grew up with music as my dad was a member of the San Francisco Symphony. I started taking piano lessons at age four and loved it. My
mom couldn’t get me o the piano to do anything else. When I started high school,
I got an after-school job working at a day care. When it was time to go to college and to think about what I wanted to study, the answer was a no-brainer: I love kids, I love music = a music teacher! I’ve been at Menlo for 16 years now, and the School allows me to teach my own passions and is supportive of my music programs. I still look forward to coming to work each day because I love helping students nd their talent! I love to see their “aha” moment when they sing or play an instrument for the rst time...and realize they are good at it.
