                      ATHLETIC HIGHLIGHTS
CROSS COUNTRY
Lizzie Lacy ’15 opened the season with a 17th-place  nish to help lead Amherst to a victory at the Smith Invitational in Northampton, MA. She also scored in four other races for the Mammoths.
FOOTBALL
Carnegie Mellon senior cornerback Travis Chambers ’14 made 10 tackles, seven solo, in nine games for the Tartans (7-4), who  nished the season in the Asa S. Bushnell Bowl.
... Senior quarterback Jack Heneghan ’14 became the
third Dartmouth quarterback to throw for 2,000 yards in a season twice. In 2017, he threw 2,136 yards while completing 185 of 293 passes with 17 touchdowns. He  nished his collegiate career with 4,900 passing yards and 28 touchdowns. Heneghan was named All-Ivy League honorable mention
and Academic All-District Team. ... Alex Gold ’16, a freshman outside linebacker, made eight tackles in six games for Pomona-Pitzer. ... Freshman running back Charlie Ferguson ’17
was Middlebury’s
third-leading
rusher with
139 yards on 27
carries and two
touchdowns,
helping the

7-2 overall.
GOLF
Je rey Herr ’16 took  rst place as the Amherst men opened their season at the Bill Detrick Invitational in Connecticut. ... Sophomore Nicole Henderson ’16 shot a career-best 78 to lead the Occidental women to a season-opening win against Marymount.
SAILING
Jackson Wagner ’15, a Harvard junior, placed 13th of 27 at the NEISA Men’s Singlehanded Championship in Cambridge, MA.
MEN’S SOCCER
Junior Kyle Perez ’15 had an assist and started all 16 games for Washington-St. Louis, which  nished the season with a 7-7-2 overall mark. ... Philip Hausen ’16 started 14 games and posted three goals and three assists as a sophomore forward at Harvard, which had a tough season with a 2-10-4 record. ... Occidental sophomore Ben Simon ’16 started 10 of the 17 games he played in as a mid elder for the Tigers, which  nished with a 9-8-1 overall mark.
