Boys’ basketball splits WBAL match-ups

Reznik finishes with 18 points, 7 rebounds in win over Eastside; Knights lose to Priory

1.27.2023 – The Menlo boys’ basketball team dropped an 80-34 decision to Priory in a West Bay Athletic league match-up at home Friday.
A short-handed Knights teams (8-11 overall, 2-3) got eight points from sophomore Tate Cohen, but couldn’t catch Priory ( 17-2, 3-1) which had nine scorers, including Ryder Bush and Nes Emeneke with 13 each.

Menlo 50, Eastside 40

1.24.2023 –The Menlo boys’ basketball team defeated Eastside 50-40 in WBAL play on the road Tuesday.

The Knights (2-2 league, 8-10) led 38-22 at halftime and never looked back.

Sam Reznik, a junior, paced Menlo with 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including four threes, and grabbed seven rebounds. Senior Brooks Mead dished out four assists and had five rebounds.

Senior Robby Enright and sophomore Tate Cohen also had five rebounds.
