Boys’ golf opens with a pair of wins

Knights beat Nueva 221-222

Late afternoon rains didn’t stop Menlo boys’ golf, which eked out a league win 221-222 over Nueva at Baylands Golf Links on Thursday.

The Knights (2-0) got another low score from senior Eric Yun, who shot a 35. Juniors Will Edwards fired a 39 and Ben Park had a 45. Senior Julian Brooks and junior Hunter Guyer shot 51s.   

Menlo 206, Design Tech 245

The Menlo boys’ golf team opened the season with a 206-245 win over Design Tech at Crystal Springs GC on Monday.
Knights senior Eric Yun ran away with medalist honors with a 4-under 32. 
Juniors Ben Park & Hunter Guyer each carded 42s. Junior William Edwards posted a 43 and sophomore  William Beesley 47 for the Knights.
